New Home Update

It’s been a while. Between moving into the new house and playing far too much Star Wars: The Old Republic I’ve been very well occupied.

In house news, we finished painting our bedroom! All the rooms of the house are painted a similar off-white-ish grey colour, with the exception of the upstairs bathroom and one wall in the kitchen. It’s not a bad colour, and in fact makes the house look clean and well maintained. We just wanted a little more p-zazz for the bedroom.

The living room is exactly as you see pictures…except that the computer is now in the newly made office upstairs. The room is definitely not in it’s final configuration, but for now it’s super cozy and great. The afternoon sun is wonderful! Just one of the many perks to having a south facing main windown :)

The kitchen is still a bit of a mess. As are most of the other rooms. But since we’ve been here less than a month, I’d say we’re making great progress. We have a list of things we want to do and I can’t wait until we can start crossing things off. We were lucky enough to get a house that needs no major repairs. The things we want to do are mostly cosmetic and small fixes.
