We are now moved in! There’s still some stuff at the apartment, but we have until the end of the month to have it cleaned out. Even our fish are here at the house with us! Otherwise it’s still a little surreal. We bought a house and are now living in it. Somehow it hasn’t quite clicked in my brain yet.
So far my favourite thing has been being able to do laundry without spending $4.00 to wash and dry a single load. The dryer is really old, but since Michelle and Aaron bought a new washer and dryer set, they are going to let us have the dryer that is currently at the house they bought. My least favourite thing is the stove/oven. The oven is caked with black, greasy grossness and just won’t be worth the while to clean. Luckily, Brandon has informed me that Chief(his boss) has an older stove that we can have! We’ve been incredibly lucky to have made such great friends in this town :)
Things are still very messy, so pictures won’t be coming up for a while.
