Fishies...except there aren't any.

Brandon and I spent his last set off from work in Terrace. As soon as he came home from the night shift Monday morning, he woke me up and we hit the road. We managed to make the trip in good time, having to resort to redbull only once! Thankfully the roads weren't terrible and keeping up with the speed limit was a cinch.

Brandon and I have finally purchased an aquarium. Since we can't have "real" pets in our apartment, we've decided that fish would be awesome. But no way are we going to have a piddly little tanks with a betta. We've kind of gone all out.

When we finally got home from our trip, instead of just unpacking and relaxing...Brandon set up the tank. He was quite the force that evening. It all came together really quickly. Even without fish, it's quite lovely to look at, especially when the bubble machine is on.

These are our live plants. They're just babies right now. Can't wait for them to get all large and beautiful.
