And it's done :)
So we're finally moved into a new place out here at the Surrey/Langley border. The place is AMAZING! And the price is pretty incredible too. The only sad thing is that despite the generosity of others our main living area is quite empty. Yes is really is that big. And between only two people I imagine it won't be too hard to get a little bit of alone time every now and then.
We went to the Canuck's game Sunday night. I don't follow hockey...every. It just doesn't interest me. But the second you put me in the stands I get right into it! And oh my wow! The game was amazing! The first period was dull. Not a whole lot of excitement. The second period was the most exciting! 4 goals! Awesome! Edge of my seat gripping Brandon's arm in anticipation!!!! I was pretty happy that we won considering that according to the pre-game info thing on the big screen thing the Florida Panthers were pretty fierce and awesome. Fin was also pretty great that night. We took tonnes of pictures so I can garentee that they will show up on here and Brandon's facebook over the holidays.
And finally... We leave for Terrace tomorrow! It's going to be a long drive and I'll probably just sleep the whole time...except to eat and knit. I can't really do much else without getting motion sickness. Good thing I bought some gravol a few weeks ago. Even the buses and skytrain get me a little woozy. Being in Terrace should be really busy. Between hanging out with family and friends, I want to go to the Elephant's Ear and pull shots for an afternoon(maybe more??). More than anything I'm excited to cook for people!
Brandon should be home with the EggNog soon so I should go heat up the oven for dinner.

Just a quick one...
So in between packing and being out of the house a whole lot this past week here's a quick update on a few of the more exciting points in my life these days...
~Brandon's here! Has been for about a week. Good times.
~With the help of Brandon's brother, Nich, we have found ourselves a rocking two bedroom suite.
~As a continuation of my second point...we're moving to Surrey on Monday. I'd like to think of it more as Langley since we'll only be about 4 blocks away.
~I get to go home for Christmas. This isn't really 'new' news...but it's exciting!!
~I'm going to the Canuck's game tonight! I'm mostly exciting because Brandon's excited. He's so silly =P
...ummm.....I'm very sure that there's a whole lot more...but for now I'm going to go buy a coat!
**EDIT**
So...my awesome boneheaded boyfriend forgot to check the tickets and the games isn't until tomorrow... So...He's just completely Amazing!!! (love you hun^_^)

Woe is my head.
I have a headache. I very bad one. The only reason I can bear to look at the computer screen is that I've been resting my eyes in complete darkness for the last 2 hours. I really cannot wait until I finally have my surgery. Maybe then I can go a week without having some kind of horrific pain. If it's not my head it's either my neck, my back, or I loose the ability to breath properly.
On the bright side, Brandon's gets back into Canada tonight! Knowing me, I've set my alarm on my cellphone to go off at 11:59pm, so that I'll be awake to open the door when he gets here. But for now I'm going to retreat back into darkness.

Delay
So Brandon is stuck in Texas. Poor boy lost his passport and despite looking high and low there is no sign of it. Luckily, someone is going to drive him into Dallas tomorrow morning to go to the Canadian Consulates office to looking into being sent home. After all, he doesn't have a visa and has now overstayed his welcome to the United States. So providing that all goes well I'll finally get that much waited for hug tomorrow night. MUCH waited for.
Honestly, over 100 days apart is not fun. We could probably go longer...but why prolong the torture. Msn everyday, 30 minute long distance calls by cellphone, and numerous emails...these have only managed to make the wait bearable. Now it's at the point where things are just silly and he needs to come home!

Nerdy Fan Girl-dom continues...
So I've completely finished with Hana Yori Dango. Although I'm still going to search high and low for Seasons 1-2-Final on DVD with English Sub-titles. But until that happens I'm going to take a good long break so that when I watch it again it will be as awesome as the first time.
Kimi Wa Petto is my new obsession. Sadly it's only 11 episodes long and I'm nearly finished already. Honestly, I just have way too much free time. Aaaaaaanywho! It's really adorable because Matsumoto Jun is in it as the "pet" Momo ^.^ Again, this one is based off of a japanese manga. It's about a woman who finds a boy asleep and beaten bloody in a box outside of her apartment building. She takes him in and takes care of him, but he decides that he doesn't want to leave once he's feeling better. She makes him a deal that he can stay so long as stays as her pet. It turns into a big whirlwind of feelings and secrets...but as is always the case, I'm sure all will end well:)
On a side note...
I've decided to look into taking Japanese at Trinity Western. I looked into some other schools...but the campuses in Langley don't offer Japanese. This is actually great since Trinity Western was a goal of mine while I was in highschool. Once I'm sure that I have a good balance between a class or two a week as well as work I might look into improving my French as well. In the long term I really like the idea of earning a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages.
While apartment hunting in Langley this coming week I'm going to look into stopping my the TWU campus and maybe make an appointment to looking into taking classes this winter or spring.

Books Are EVERYWHERE!
So I'm in the process of sorting through all the hidden corners that I've created in my room. I'm really amazed by how much stuff I've managed to fit in my very little room. What I'm finding even more mind boggling is how many books I own. When I moved down to Burnaby I only brought the more important books with me. Since then I've acquired at least 15-20 more. Despite trying really hard, the things I organize never stay that way. I've found books scattered on every shelf, under my desk, on my desk, at the foot of my bed, in my closet, in a suitcase, on my window sill, in my backpack and purse, and in several boxes. I like books. Since that's the case...here are a few I recommend:
1. From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz
2. Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind
3. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
4. Twilight by Stephenie Meyers (the first book of the series...by far the best...the story starts to get really far fetched near the end of the series)
5. The Dragon Lance Chronicles
Dean Koontz' books are always really great. This one is completely worth of being at the top of my list!
Mostly these are the books that I've read most recently. I tend to love everything I choose to read. I'm finding that I really like suspense/mystery with a bit of a dark side(with good triumphing over evil in the end of course^_^).
And For a Music Update!
This one is a Taiwanese Group called Fahrenheit. I found them about a year ago when I started watching some Taiwanese dramas @ Crunchy Roll.
And one more by the same band feature S.H.E.

Hana Yori Dango!!!! ... and a few updates on happenings of a rather exciting nature
So...this show/manga is my current obsession...along with the band Arashi from Japan. Seriously...you all need to check it out. It's especially great if you like the really cheezy moments that make you giggle and 'awe'. I know I love those moments. The best place to check it out is at Mysoju. Just click on Japanese Dramas and scroll down though the listings...they are alphabetical.
As for Arashi...check out my facebook page on my youtube appy. I've added a song of theirs that I can't stop listening to^.^
And to prove how great these are..... I haven't played WoW since I started watching them!! ZOHMYGoodness!
UPDATES!
I had my consultation last week with Dr. M.J. Sproul. It went really well and all the research I did before hand really paid off. Also, thanks to the wonders of univeral healthcare my surgery and all pre-op/post-op tests, etc... are being billed to MSP!
My last day at Wicked is this coming Friday. It really is bittersweet. I'm really going to miss the people...but not so much the commute.
I'm going back to Terrace for the holidays!!!
Brandon gets back into Canada from the big south flat this weekend!!
I'm moving to Langley! I've never actually been there though...
I'm too excited for the VERY near future that sleeping is nearly impossible unless I force myself awake like I'm doing now!
